Pack Horse.
The slow trudge home from school just got slower now that Gruff is out of the pram and walking too. The only drawback, is that there’s no where to put the coats, bags, hats, lunch boxes, kitchen sinks,..etc that the girls bring home from school each day!
We also have our little stalker Arnie that lies in wait at the top of the road, waiting for the return of his little clan.

Take the pram and put the coats in it. On really bad days have the kids push you home in it.
Buy a shopping trolley.

This is familiar!
only pride prevents me from buying and using a roll-along granny shopper..
Get them all backpacks so they can carry their own! Great picture – says it all, really – happy kids, downtrodden Mum!
Took me ages to get rid of ours and now wie have number two I have a reason lol
I can identify with this. Mum gets to carry the water bottles, cardigans, reading folder/ bag and coats, just so the smalls can run free.
Do what I do and refuse to be the cart horse.
Roll-along granny shoppers are all the rage now for a lot of the students in my area – you’d be getting rid of that pack-horse feeling AND getting down with the kids
lol! Tempted! I would definitely buy if it was tartan too
Husb found a CAMOUFLAGE shopping trolley in the aids for the disabled and elderly shop on Oxford Street. He bought it too. I won’t go out with him and it. It also turns into a handy seat and a rucksack.
