Hen pecked!
I just love your chookies.
Maybe the hens are still upset by the fox?
One has laid right through the saga. The two smaller ones are just in it for the corn and the thrills….
I cried ‘cus I thought the fox et ‘em all! We’re these in witness protection?
One was found outside in a bush hiding we thought she would die from fright but she’s still here. The other two hid in the house. Our cockerel actually died fighting the fox off, unfortunately he got our other girl
Loving your bog, what a sweet idea!

You’re probably right! We have got new recruits coming next week. Best to introduce new ones while the pecking order is up in the air.
Poor chickens are still traumatized after
The fox episode! They need some tender
Loving care …
Don’t worry, I assure you they are. It’s sad seeing such a little number of hens, they’ll do much better in a larger flock so I will be introducing some new characters next week for you all to see.
Hopefully one will start laying golden eggs…..
Lol! Funnily enough we DID have more eggs today! Not golden ones though but nice to see they’re all right
I thoroughly enjoy your style. Do you possibly having anything in the Etsy.com marketplace?
