Isabel is “still” breastfeeding; she too is nearly 13 months. She has 8 teeth. She has bit me (only when teething). What you said… “It’s our choice. It suits us.” … that’s exactly it 🙂

Its a two way agreement, that’s the way I like to explain it. It really comes into its own in the second year of life. Brilliant for teething. I’ve had a few occasional chomps too, I find it helps to hold them close and to pay attention when the feed has finished or just beginning as that’s when they tend to bite. Well done too on feeding to 13 months, I hope you both continue to enjoy your breastfeeding journey. 🙂
