We had a new TV a few weeks ago. I caught my 17 year old *AJ sat in the box.
I have a WONDERFUL photo of him. Love and hugs. xx π

To littles, the wrapping and boxes are much more fun than the actual present! A stanza from one of my poems about my grandson:
I see you. It is your first Christmas.
A smiley happy boy, revelling in
scrunching up wrapping paper.
You toss your toys aside,
wear cardboard boxes on your head,
stagger to your feet and lurch
across the room; give me a sploshy kiss
and a woolly cat.

Kids are like cats in this respect aren’t they. Usually mine are like dogs – nutty, dirty, smelly – but when it comes to boxes, they curl up in them like cats.

I am told I used to prefer the wrapping to the present. And that was only last year! π
Brilliant picture, so simple but it says so much.

I’ll keep that in mind when I have kids… I’ve heard that a lot of little kids actually prefer empty boxes and wrapping to the actual present inside. Cute picture!
