  1. I miss conker season now my boys are grown. Tubs of mouldy conkers found in their rooms in January I don’t miss!

    • Conkers are the seeds from the Horse Chestnut tree. A childhood spent obsessively stuffing my pockets with the brown, shiny nuts. Now my children are only to happy to carry this on 🙂 You can’t eat these ones but another species of chestnut you can and they’re coming into season at the end of this month.
