Penny Sweets.

Apparently in this country 50 per cent of the population in this country earn more than £35,000 a year.

Between that 50 per cent, they make up 93 per cent of the income of the United Kingdom.

Or put it another way, the other 50 per cent earn just 7 per cent of the country’s income.

Penny sweets anyone?

  2. A horrendous thought. But penny sweets are bad for teeth – give ’em sultanas instead!

  4. It could be worse. You could live in the States. Mitt Romney brings in more in an hour than I have in a week. The top 1% have the top 90% of the wealth. The system’s broken, and I fear for our children.
