Poor kids…hope they’ll be back to their usual selves by tomorrow, though they’ll probably keep talking about it from time to time while they make sense of how such a thing could (almost) happen. (And best wishes to you and Miles recovering from the shock too!)

Bloody hell, heart stopping close shave. i ‘spect kids are processing.
Am sure will be bouncing back to usual antics in no time. Hard to enjoy the peace tho, when you are worrying that its too quiet and not normal.

I expect the whole family will have a reaction of some sort to the trauma. Evie and Gruff’s method is to sleep it off. I hope it doesn’t give them nightmares.

Very normal response after shock – you will all have burnt off a huge amount of nervous energy when it happened and will be tired from that. Try to get some rest yourself too 🙂
