That first sight of one’s baby is surely the most miraculous moment. Ten is a great age – almost adolescent, yet young enough to enjoy childish things as well.

Happy Birthday Millie, and Happy 10 years of being a Mummy/ Mammy, Angie! A decade is a real milestone, isn’t it? I hope you all had lots of cake and lots of fun. Do you know the song..”Circle game” by Joni Mitchell? “Yesterday, a child came out to wonder…. Then the child moved 10 times round the seasons, Skated over 10 clear frozen streams, Words like “When you’re older”, must appease him, and promises of someday make his dreams”. My daughter ( 27) and I always loved that song, and I still play it on her Birthday even though she’s miles away- you’re always her Mum! x
