I had a son like that. Daughter was tidy-ish.
Ah, familiar response. And it isn’t always me that says it…
When my daughter was in her early teens, the Fire Brigade came to fit a new smoke/ fire alarm. After looking in at her room, with “stuff” covering every inch of floor, they declared that, in the event of a fire, she wouldn’t get out alive! Her friends would only go into her room if she cleared up, and we only ventured in, once a week, to collect teaspoons!
