We’re Welsh did you know that?
It’s St David’s day here in Wales and that means celebrating everything fabulous about being Welsh, including sheep, Joe’s ice cream and Welsh cakes.
Rugby shirt for Millie this year, (she’s moving on from the Welsh costume to something a little more to her taste).
Evie, full blown Welsh ensemble with plaited bunches, ribbons and bows, ( I am not overcompensating for Millie honestly…).
Gruff, Welsh rugby shirt and a wopping big smile.
And guess what? The sun shone too!

Oh how I hated that itchy Welsh costume! I’m with Millie on this 🙂

Just gorgeous illustrations – there’s something about these that reminds me of Quentin Blake’s illustrations for Roald Dahl. Beautiful!

I meant to say.”Happy St David’s Day” to you, ahead of time, rather than behind it! The children look fab,- Evie looks just like the Welsh doll I was given when I was 7 or 8- I always fancied that costume! I’m glad you all had a lovely day, but very sad not to read the word….”leeks” – king of the vegetables!
