Hear hear! I always loved the ones my Mum made up on the spot – although she can’t remember doing that now. When I reminded her she said ‘I did? How unusually inventive of me.’

  2. So sweet! There’s nothing better than curling up in bed with a picture book and a bunch of small book lovers.

a reminder that makes my heart warm.. thank you!

  4. Hooray. Both my kids and all the grandkids are bookworms, thanks to all that story sharing.

  5. Marvellous. You’ve also got a literary cat 🙂

Great blog. Great drawings. They remind me of the drawings of the person who illustrated the Roald Dahl books. I’m afraid I dont know the name. This pic reminded me of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory …at the beginning of the story the four old grandparents are all in one bed because they are so poor….lol

    Thank you!

  9. what a perfect little sketch 🙂
