Prom girl.

Millie graduated from her primary school today with a lovely leavers assembly followed by a prom, (with limousines, DJ and buffet).
She has literally blossomed in front of our eyes over the last two years in her new school and to say how happy we are would be putting it mildly. She received a special award for the most improved pupil.
Just goes to show if you don’t like the path you’re on, bloody well change it!

  2. What a beautiful post to end my day with. Well done to all of you for being brave enough to make a change. It sounds like it’s very much paid off. X

  3. Bless her wee heart. 🙂

  4. Well done, Milly: onwards and upwards

  5. Marvellous, all the best for the future, Millie

  6. Hooray! Millie- you have done SOOOOOOOOOOOOO well! Congratulations to you on receiving your prize, you really deserve it, and you deserve to be happy, respected and cared for at school. You look absolutely fabulous in your dress, I hope you had a lovely prom. Enjoy this special summer, and “good luck” for your new school.x

Well done, Angie and Myles, for having the courage of your convictions to move Millie when you did. I too had to take drastic action when my daughter was10, to remove her from bullies, then she sailed through secondary school, happy and confident, which I NEVER thought would happen. x

  7. A primary prom with limousines?! I didn’t know they existed ( the primary proms, I HAVE seen a limousine!) Blimey, that’s setting the bar high- by the time she gets to her secondary prom, they’ll be hiring helicopters! ( I’ve heard that some schools already do……)

I guess for the secondary prom, you’ll need a Glass Coach.

  10. Congratulations, Millie! You are growing up a little bit every day and are equal to any challenge that comes your way. Love your prom dress and shoes, also the picture of you reading with your cat. God bless you on your way!

  11. Many congratulations to your little one!
