This is the month of spiders. There is a lot of them around this year, big ones too.
Very big ones…
I don’t mind them myself but my kids don’t seem too fond, (nor is Myles come to think of it).

Doesn’t Arnie eat them?
No! My last cat did but Arnie prefers not too.
You need this…01. Spider in the Bath: http://youtu.be/XgQ1JuUIexA
I heard it so many times when my son was younger I know it all by heart! To be honest, he still doesn’t like spiders now but it helped diffuse some of the fear at the time!
Ah I LOVE this!!! My kids watched this too, (still do) 🙂
Those tickly little legs are so creepy–and there are so many of them!
Spider in the Bath!!!

I have to reblog this sketch form Doodlemum, which fits quite well with yesterday’s kid vs. mom discussion…
I had to reblog this as it was exactly the discussion I was having with my kids yesterday (see kids vs mom quote).
Love your sketches, they illustrate wonderfully those daily precious moments with our kids!
Im afraid of spiders too…
I don’t mind spiders, I can get them out in a duster, but I really didn’t want my kids to be frightened of them, so I used to read them charlottes web, sang itsy bitsy spider ect. To no avail they all used to scream the house down! Still bad now. How is that? It must be inbred!
I have never been afraid of spiders. They catch and eat annoying pests, so I like them. I rescue them. My daughter used to be scared of spiders. Now she rescues them too!
I’m always dumbfounded when a spider in the bathroom effect the ability to play in ANY room!!
HE’S IN THE BATHROOM!!!
I don’t like them in the bath or anywhere else. They’re like snakes–good or bad, I don’t like them.
