You need this…01. Spider in the Bath: http://youtu.be/XgQ1JuUIexA
I heard it so many times when my son was younger I know it all by heart! To be honest, he still doesn’t like spiders now but it helped diffuse some of the fear at the time!

I have to reblog this sketch form Doodlemum, which fits quite well with yesterday’s kid vs. mom discussion…

I had to reblog this as it was exactly the discussion I was having with my kids yesterday (see kids vs mom quote).

I don’t mind spiders, I can get them out in a duster, but I really didn’t want my kids to be frightened of them, so I used to read them charlottes web, sang itsy bitsy spider ect. To no avail they all used to scream the house down! Still bad now. How is that? It must be inbred!

I have never been afraid of spiders. They catch and eat annoying pests, so I like them. I rescue them. My daughter used to be scared of spiders. Now she rescues them too!

I don’t like them in the bath or anywhere else. They’re like snakes–good or bad, I don’t like them.
