Is it taking some time getting used to “the short walk to freedom”? It must be strange, after all these years of having at least one child to go home with, to go home on your own, with only the pets and the laundry for company. I know a lot of women in your situation then have to fend off the “what now?” questions, but hopefully, your new freedom will give you more time to do even more of your wonderful drawings and illustrations. After a while, the child-free day whizzes by- blimey, is that the time? Almost time to pick up the little blighters from school!

So emotive–the posture is just right–a little sheltered, a little lonely, introspective. (smiles)
