Grumbly skies.

I’ve always loved thunder, I used to get so excited if I was woken up in the night with flashes of lightning and would count the seconds until the thunder rumbled in.
So I didn’t need much encouragement tonight to take Bonnie for her walk, although I don’t think she was as impressed as I was.

  1. Delightful! You should take a trip to South Africa in the summer. On the Highveld we have storms that will curl Bonnies tail and get you frothing.
Thanks so much for the stream of delightful drawings that come from your pen. I am one of many who enjoy without comment.

  2. I heard thunder and saw lightning while I was at Brownies-we all had to get back against the wall!

  3. Just hold onto your ball, Bonnie, and everything will be alright! I love thunder and lightning too…..but preferably when I’m warm and cosy at home! Thanks for another gorgeous drawing. x

  4. Oh cruel Mum! Dogs are terrified of thunder.

My dog hates thunder, but then so do I. I think if we could we would both get under the covers in the bed, joined by at least 1 of my boys.

    • Aw, sounds like a good solution to me. When I was younger, I would sneak out of the house and run down to the beach with a sketchbook and paints the minute I heard rumbles of thunder. So exciting!
