Oh dear, Bonnie really is a character!
One of our feline companions tried to bring a fresh pheasant he’d caught/found through the cat flap. It just wasn’t quite wide enough so a visiting neighbour relieved him of his burden and had it for supper, saving some scraps for Bob (beast of Bodmin). We could not eat it ourselves because our daughter is (very) vegetarian.
