Knitted kitties.

I’ve knitted little round cats for my guys to play with but Renee has officially moved in and adopted them as her surrogate “kittens”. I’ve never seen a cat do this before. She’ll call to them, pick them up and distribute them randomly around the house. Some have even found their way in this fine weather, out in the garden.(But they are always brought in for night time). Her favourite is the largest, knitted with a very fluffy wool and with blue eyes.

is it possible she’s going through a false pregnancy? Both dogs and cats can, even if spayed. Please give her some pats for me and tell her she’s a first-rate mum.

I think it’s just her preferred method of play as she never really had a chance until I adopted her. We’ve had to teach her to be a cat again so she has some rather strange ways but very endearing.

It’s my own pattern I kind of made it up as I went along! Typical artist ! π

Yes mine has a fantasy zebra… from kitten on it’s his, and he takes it everywhere, sometimes it is even gone for a while, then he jumps back with it again.
