Lockdown part two.

We’re hours away from the next 17 day lockdown for Wales. It will be a full lock down, we are to stay at home and only venture out for food, exercise and medical emergencies.
And I went to do a food shop.
The shop was too busy, full of people. A lot more than normal.
I stood at the entrance and had to wait to go in as there were too many inside.
I turned around and walked back to my car.
Someone make me a cup of tea, I don’t want to make my own tea any more.
That’s all I want.

It’s the same here in Ohio, USA. I am 80 years old , widowed and my youngest daughter lives with me. Other than 1 1/2 hours at dinner and two days on weekend no contact with anyone but my dog Ryder. We will get through this, keep writing and drawing. That’s what I do too.

Sending you a virtual cup of tea. (Even though I’m American I promise I won’t microwave the water! 😂 )

I don’t want to make my own cup of tea anymore either. Some days I just want to stay warm by the stove and do nothing. All the best to you.

We are just coming out of our second ‘stay at home’. It was a long one. Hang in there.

So sorry to hear you will be in another lockdown. The Premier of our Province (Alberta, Canada) just announced that we will NOT be put into another lockdown. Yes, cases are rising, as you would expect with a big increase in testing. But deaths are not rising significantly and hospitalizations are well below a critical point. The ‘side’ effect of lockdowns have become more significantly detrimental than the virus.
