Positive vibes only.

It was bound to happen wasn’t it. A matter of probability that the little blighter of a virus was going to show it’s face.

And it hasn’t disappointed. Tiny but mighty in flooring us all like a mini slayer of giants.

Gone through us like a spring breeze, we have all dropped to it’s charms.

Chills, thrills, coughing, runny noses and more coughing.

Starts with a little line on a lateral flow test, then the sore throat, then comes the fatigue and the fun.

Welcome covid to our house. Please close the door on your way out. We really would like you to leave now.

(we are ok though, just fed up of feeling rubbish).

    • Fiona, I’m so sorry you’ve been suffering. I hope you really catch a break . It’s really been a long two years. Honestly , I draw to process my day and enjoy the drawing , the words often follow. Im so glad I’ve cheered you up a bit. Wishing you and anyone struggling right now a little bit of breathing space.❤️

  4. Yup, it’s taken me and Husb out this week as well. Two years of avoiding it, but we’re double vaxxed and boostered so hopefully it won’t kill us, unlike all those poor people in Hong Kong. Feeling exhausted and my brain isn’t working but Husb had it a few days before me so he’s on the mend now. Sister-in-law is a bee keeper and gave us some of her local honey so been trickling that down my throat to relieve the soreness.

    • Ah Rosie, it’s horrible. Absolutely your best defence is simple rest and food. Feeling very lucky to have had the vaccines too. I really hope you’re feeling better soon ❤️
