Ice cream.

The flavours, the size of them, it’s simply rude not to eat them!

Hit the beach!

It’s the only thing to do when you’ve got impending school days ahead!

A prickly visitor.

How cute are baby hedgehogs? Not fluffy but so very, very cute!

Wild children.

No games consoles, no screens, just barefeet and imagination.

Take the plunge.

Millie has spent the best part of the afternoon hurling herself into the cold water of the small lake.

…just for the weekend. Let’s hope the weather holds.

Drawings from Mudland.

We’re back home after a very muddy time at the Green Man.
Here are some of our more memorable moments.
I’m off to rediscover running water and contemplate the Mount Everest washing pile.

The Great British Music Festival.

We’ve finally made it to the Green Man festival. There’s been a lot of ferrying our camping luggage with trolleys but we’re here!

Moving on.

Well I think I can comfortably say we have acclimatised to camping and are taking up more gentle pursuits.
On to the Green Man festival site tomorrow for a week of fun.
If I loose my signal like last year, I’ll have some back up posts planned for you.

In the Deep End.

Nothing like a bouncy ball to motivate your dog to take the plunge!

Painting the Campsite.

There are certain advantages to having an artist as a mother, especially when you bring all your new holiday friends to have their face painted!

Camping is very Tiring.

It’s so very tiresome being an outdoors dog…

Off home.

Tent put away, gear and children wedged into car, home to showers, tea and a comfy bed.

fireworks at caerphilly.

Ill be back tomorrow but here’s another piccie. Next time I must remember my sketchbook.!

And the little one said…

…shhhh, don’t you know kids sleep really well in tents?
Unfortunately they do wake up early though.

Starry starry night.

I love going out in the dark when we’re camping, it’s magical.

Happy Campers.

Yes very happy campers indeed, no rain, very windy but we all enjoyed.

I’ll give you a few on the spot sketches tonight before I collapse into bed and more tomorrow.
